Welcome to American Helix A Legacy of Innovation and Craftsmanship

At American Helix, our mission is to elevate the smoking experience through expert craftsmanship and innovative design. My journey as a pipe maker began with an invaluable apprenticeship under the legendary Bob Snodgrass, whose mentorship taught me the time-honored traditions of glassblowing and inspired me to push the boundaries of glass artistry. Bobs pioneering spirit continues to influence my work, as I strive to uphold his legacy through every piece we create.

In 2007, drawing on my background in fluid dynamics, I introduced the Helix designan innovative piece that harnesses Bernoullis principle to create a unique, swirling “Helix” effect for a cooler, smoother smoke. The Helix quickly became a favorite across Texas, topping sales in countless shops.
