Hercules Weightlifting – Classic World

Look how strong Hercules is as he lifts all the weights! Your child can gain an understanding of weight and balance as they change the number of weights on Hercules’ arms and see how each arm moves.

Learning Outcomes: Helps children to gain an understanding of the relationship between weights and balance, and cause and effect. The adult can engage the child’s critical thinking and observation skills by asking questions, such as: “Will that make Hercules’ arm go up or down?” This challenges the child to hypothesise an outcome, based on their growing understanding; making the correct prediction can help to develop their learning confidence.
