The aim of this course is to inform the candidate of different evacuation procedures, how to command and control situations, the roles and responsibilities of a warden, the specific building requirements and the coordination of the emergency services.
Unit standard 3271 Suppress fire with hand extinguishers and fixed hose reels – level 2, credits 1.
Unit standard 18408 Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency warden duties in the workplace – level 3, credits 3.
We recommend refresher training at least every two years.
